Nigel in Concert
Nigel in Concert
Nigel's score for Ladies in Lavender, the new feature film directed by Charles Dance and starring Dame Judi Dench and Dame Maggie Smith, will be heard in cinemas from mid-November. The soundtrack, performed by virtuoso American violinist Joshua Bell and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, is being released on Sony Classics.
Following successful concerts with the RPO at St.John's Smith Square and the Royal Festival Hall, Nigel will be conducting highlights of his scores for the Royal Shakespeare Company, together with music from other Shakespearean productions, for a Gala Evening called The Food of Love. Hosted by Dame Judi Dench and Patrick Stewart, the concert takes place at Cadogan Hall, London, on Sunday January 16th, 2005.
