Arwyn started his career as a composer in the early nineties and since then has been commissioned to write theme tunes and underscores for numerous production companies and in a variety of musical styles.

He recieved his first commission in 1992,writing an original score for Shivers, a series of children's ghost stories screened by S4C. This was quickly followed by the Bafta award winning animation series Gogs for S4C and BBC2 which subsequently led to a full symphonic score recording of his work for a 30 min Christmas special Gogwana which has been screened in countries the world over.

Further projects have included collaboration with the Taiwanese composer R.Huang on the Mike Mort animation Animated Tales of the World, original songs and incidental music for S4C's Christmas light entertainement programmes, and a comission from Boomerang Productions for a series of light ent programmes which began with Lolipop 'Steddfod 01, again for S4C.

Recent comissions include original music for a series of educational programmes for Avanti Television entitled Celf a Chleff, theme and score for Eryri Films' situation comedy Naw tan Naw, a score for Fflic Television's reality show Cariad @ Iaith and Darlun Byw for Cwmni Da.

Arwyn has recently completed a score for a short film entitled The Cosmic Joker which is due to be screened on S4C. He is currently working on an exciting collaboration for a stage musical which isn't his first venture into musical theatre as he has co-written a musical called Merlin World which received critical acclaim. Other current projects include a symphonic work and a CD showing his talent and passion for the big band era.

He is also about to start work on a feature film as musical director celebrating the life and talent of Wales' most famous double act Ryan and Ronnie. Not only will he be composing an origional score for this picture, but also arranging Ryan's songs and singing them to boot. We can expect to see it screened around Christmas 2007.

Arwyn has an excellent state of the art studio at his Cardiff home, featuring the latest digital recording equipment, top quality instrumental samples and full sychronising facilities for frame-perfect music scoring.

He would welcome the opportunity to discuss with directors and producers their indivdual project needs, and be very happy to submit compositions written to brief for their further consideration if required.
